Transfers Between Workshops
We make commitments to staff and facilities based upon your registration. If you cannot attend the workshop for which you have registered, you may transfer to another date or location within the below listed terms and conditions. You may also transfer your tuition to a different type of workshop, to another service, or to another person. The Transfer Fees described below will apply.
Transfers to earlier or later workshop dates can be completed online. If you are requesting that we transfer your tuition to a different type of workshop, to another service, or to another person, you will need to contact Customer Care.
If you are requesting a transfer within three (3) days of your workshop start date, you must contact the Customer Care department by phone at 800.418.9924.
Transfer Policy for all Programs
- All transfers are subject to workshop space availability.
- If you elect to attend a session other than the date for which you registered, you will pay a Transfer Fee based upon the following schedule:
- There is no Transfer Fee for transfers completed within ten (10) days of original purchase, unless the original registration happens within 45 days of the program.
- There is a $35 Transfer Fee for every transfer completed more than ten (10) days after original purchase. Exception: The Transfer Fee is waived if the transfer is completed by the customer on our website at understandmen.com 46 days or more before the start date of the course. If the customer requests assistance from Customer Care in completing the transfer, this exception does not apply.
- There is a Transfer Fee equivalent to 20% of program tuition for every transfer completed within forty-five (45) days from the start date of the course, regardless of whether the transfer is completed by the customer on the web at understandmen.com, or by a Customer Care Partner via phone or email. Exception: The Transfer Fee for Core Partnership is 50% of program tuition within forty-five (45) days of the program start date.
- If you do not attend the session for which you registered and you do not complete a transfer prior to the session start date, you will be considered a "No Show." In this case, you authorize a charge equivalent to 30% of program tuition to your payment option on file. Upon payment of the 30% "No Show" fee, your program will be listed as "Session Date TBD" and available for you to reschedule at understandmen.com. Exceptions: No shows for Core Partnership will be charged 100% of program tuition. If you do not attend a Live Webinar Program, you will be provided access to the Recorded Webinar Program for 90 days and this access will complete delivery of the Program.
- If you arrive after the published start time for the program for which you are registered, you will not be admitted and you can transfer to a later date subject to the 20% Transfer Fee specified in #2 above.
- If you transfer your tuition to a different type of workshop, or to another service, to another person, you will be charged a $35 transfer fee. You must contact Customer Care to request these types of transfers.
